Pros
Affordable
For a recliner chair with this type of body and design, the price point is quite good. Its closest rivals, the Relaxzen 60-425111 and the Massaging Black Leather Recliner are about a hundred dollars cheaper but their body and base are very different.
Bonus vibration massage and heat
This HomCom chair is purchased for its lazy-boy comfort and reclining design. The vibration massage and heat are not so brilliant on this chair so the best mindset when purchasing this chair is to consider the vibration massage and lumbar heat as bonuses rather than the prime features.
That being said, the HomCom chair has 5 preset programs and has 5 body area targets. It can cover the upper back, legs, thighs and the lumbar area of the body. Vibrating and heating modes can be tweaked and adjusted and there are different speed settings too.
It rocks… and swivels and reclines
So we already know that these massage chairs in this price point all swivel and recline. However, what makes this particular brand and model different is that it also rocks. It’s very soothing if you put it in your nursery and rock your little one on this chair. The vibrating massage also acts as white noise that puts a baby to sleep.
The PU leather is good
The PU leather feels and looks like real leather. It makes the HomCom chair look and feel sleek and elegant in your home. Oh – and cats love it.
Cons
Doesn’t last
Sadly, people who have purchased this chair and who’ve had it for a long time report that the HomCom massage chair isn’t very durable. The padding breaks down, the machinery for the massage and/or heat stops working, and some parts may cleave off.
This is more apt to happen if you use it daily and weigh more than normal. The manufacturer boasts a hassle-free returns policy, though.
Not for tall people
This massage chair is a great for short or medium-sized people. If you’re tall, though, especially over 6 feet, you might not fit comfortably in this chair. You’re best looking for another brand and model if you’re taller than average.
The foot rest is hard to bring down
When you try to put down the foot rest after a massage session, it’s very hard to push down the footrest. A lever would be nice but there’s none and you have to fight with the footrest manually to force it back down. Not exactly the hassle you want if you’re after relaxation. Maybe there’s a simple knack to it that we didn’t quite master.
The chair leans forward
Some people like it this way but it feels weird for some people as it tilts forward some. A few people have fixed this by changing some bolts to longer ones but if you’re not good with your hands this may not be an option.

Kara W from Amazon Reviews did a fix by adding a few washers to the bottom to keep it from leaning forward when sitting on it. Now, kids, her 6’3″ husband, and herself enjoy it.
Conclusion
The HomCom Deluxe Heated Vibrating PU Leather Massage Recliner is an affordable option if you’re looking for a good-looking, stable, and compact recliner chair with bonus features like vibrating massage and heat during cold winter days.

Still, it doesn’t shine as brightly as some of our other picks in our “massage chairs under $500” category. It isn’t as durable as the iJoy Active 2.0 – nor is it as cheap and uber comfortable as the Relaxzen 60-425111 and the Massaging Black Leather Recliner.
